An Introduction to the Bandhas

Within the yoga practice, there are three “locks,” or bandhas, that work to support, structure, and soften any given pose. Bandhas help to control the flow of warmth and energy through the body on an internal level, and help to complete postures and create more stability on an external level. This overview will give you the basic tools you need to go deeper in your yoga practice.
