A Spring Weekend in DC

Hello my friends! Matt and I had a nice, relaxing weekend here in DC. It was great to be home after all our travels! I treated myself to a calming evening yoga class on Friday at my old favorite Edge Yoga via ClassPass – perfect way to begin the weekend.

Saturday was rainy and all about eating! I slept in and then met a group of girlfriends for brunch at Founding Farmers in DC.

I think Founding Farmers is way overrated (and always SOOOO crowded/stressful when you first arrive), but the company was wonderful. Always good to catch up with old friends! Part 2 of Saturday’s eating adventures was dinner at Rustico in Ballston for my high school friend Hilary’s birthday! I love their food – the kale barley salad topped with salmon always rocks – and it was really fun to catch up and reminisce.

I was up early on Sunday for a run date! The weather could not have been more amazing.
