The Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is rethinking the way Americans eat and farm. The nonprofit, four-season farm and education center, located just 25 miles north of New York City, has set out to improve sustainable farming practices, train new farmers in regenerative techniques, and help raise public awareness in healthy, seasonal food—all for our benefit.

In this video interview, Sonima founder Sonia Jones sits down with Jill Isenbarger, the executive director at Stone Barns, which spans a stunning 80 acres, to discuss the importance of changing the pattern of growing food and eating so that we can have healthier water, healthier soil, and healthier people. Isenbarger describes the programs the center has invested in to help shape the ways we’ll eat in the future. Watch this quick clip to learn more.
