It’s been a while since I did a Day in the Life post, so let’s toss one in the mix, shall we? Here’s what I was up to yesterday.
5:52 a.m. – Alarm goes off (the extra 2 minutes makes the difference, I swear). Get up, change into running clothes.
6:05 a.m. – Eat a snack (a waffle with a smear of almond butter + about 4 oz of water mixed with Vega Pre-Workout Energizer – love that stuff).
6:20 a.m. – Out the door!
6:30 – 7:45 a.m. – Track workout! I do about a half mile warm up jog and some stretches/strides before we officially kick off around 6:40.
The coaches had us do 1200’s (3 laps around the track, or 3/4 mile) with 2 minutes rest in between each. I do 5 of them and then do a cool down jog.
7:55 a.m. – Arrive back home. Use my foam roller for a bit and stretch out, then hop in the shower. Eat a banana and an almond butter Perfect Bar (these are super hearty/more satisfyi…
